Member Olivia Wood's billboard goes up in three different locations around Providence, RI.

Former Treasurer Nick Benjamin departs S4C.

Member Nick Snyder becomes new S4C Treasurer.

January 2022

Students4Change partnered with RI State Representative Julie Casimiro for a hats, mittens, and scarves drive for Foster Foward. Donation bins were placed in various locations around RI.

S4C members also spoke at several school committee meetings and worked together to send emails in the hopes of getting gender neutral bathrooms re-opened at North Kingstown High School.

December 2021

Students4Change member Olivia Wood won 1st place in XQ + For Freedoms Billboard Challenge. Her artwork will be placed on three billboards located in Providence, Rhode Island.

S4C also hosted a Holiday Toy Drive at Yes Gallery in Wickford, RI.

On December 18th, Students4Change volunteered at the North Kingstown Community Center to help package and sort items for Afghan families coming to Rhode Island.

November 2021

Students4Change puts out a 1 year anniversary video where members discuss the accomplishments of the group over the past year.

Students4Change also hosts a food drive for Thanksgiving at Yes Gallery located in Wickford, RI. All proceeds and donations went to the North Kingstown Food Pantry.

October 2021

Students4Change supports member Olivia Wood's billboard submission to the nation XQ + For Freedoms Billboard Challenge. This billboard was endorsed and supported by S4C and T.A.N.K. It reads: "If children of color live it, then white children can learn it. Diversify Education."

September 2021

S4C puts out Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion video featuring students, teachers, and community members. This is part of an effort to promote a more accepting community for people of all backgrounds and perspectives.

August 2021

S4C meets with State Senator Alana DiMario to discuss the LetRIVote campaign.

S4C members door knock and canvas with the LetRIVote Campagin to ensure equitable voting rights for all Rhode Islanders

On August 24th, S4C meets with 2022 Gubernatorial Candidate Dr. Luis Daniel Muñoz at Allen Harbor. This is a town hall style event where members can ask the candidate questions about his platform and run for office.

July 2021

S4C supports the LetRIVote campaign. Co-Founder Joe Vento leaves the PAC, Isabella Montini becomes President. Grace MacKrell becomes Vice President.

June 2021

S4C holds a Community Event aimed at informing the town about the PAC and its' chief objectives.

Members attend an NKSC meeting to support diversity & anti-racism in public schools.

S4C donates food to NK Food Pantry collected during 2021 Food Drive

May 2021

S4C supports the NKSD's FY22 Budget proposal to the Town Council. S4C supports the NKSD's new Sexual Harassment/Assault policy (title IX). Members attend an NKSC meeting to support the creation of the new policy.

April 2021

Students4Change supports the creation of a DEI subcommittee within the NKSD. Co-Founder Jacob Cedor departs the PAC.

March 2021

S4C supports statewide initiatives such as "7 Questions, 1 Answer, Yes for RI" campaign, RI Act on Climate 2021, the American Rescue Plan, and Civics Education legislation.

January 2021

NKStudents4Candidates becomes Students4Change. The PAC expands membership.

November 2020

NKStudents4Candidates canvases and holds signs on Election Day 2020. Members attend various meetings advocating for enhancing student voice in committees.

Students support North Kingstown candidates in the primary election. Students canvass and work at the polls in North Kingstown.

August 2020

Co-Founders Jacob Cedor and Joe Vento start NKStudents4Candidates, a student run political action committee.
